MOTION
That Council officers meet with Gamarada Boys and Together2 to discuss how we can assist with the transfer of goods to remote Indigenous communities, with a report of the outcome of discussions to be tabled at an Ordinary Council meeting.

Background
Recently, Gamarada Boys and Rozelle-based charity, Together2, joined together to transport whitegoods, food, and other necessities to various remote Aboriginal communities in NSW.
This is an extension of an initiative that has been coordinated by Gamarada Boys over the past decade.
This is a way that the Inner West community has been able to contribute directly to providing necessities to very remote and disadvantaged Indigenous communities. Whilst there is often a large amount of goods that are donated, transporting these goods to remote communities is a real challenge. Council should examine what we can do to assist with the transport required for this important initiative.
